PHPnow is a very convenient tool for the PHP platform There are a lot of convenient building tools, but as the saying goes, it’s easy to speak softly but hard to say goodbye.
PHPnow is not a regular installation software, so it does not have an uninstaller like the software generally installed under Windows.
If the user directly deletes his installation directory, the system will reject it.

Some friends may have been using phpnow for a long time and thought it was too bulky, so they uninstalled phpnow. Here are the methods to uninstall phpnow:

Let’s take a look at the official instructions first:

If similar software is installed, please stop or uninstall it first, otherwise it will occupy the port! Please close Xunlei or modify Xunlei's BT port!

Extract: Unzip to any directory; (cannot contain Chinese! For example, "Desktop")
Installation: Run Setup.cmd to initialize according to the wizard;
Use: .\htdocs as the main directory of the website. Execute PnCp.cmd for setup or management.
Note: Executing Stop.cmd means it has been uninstalled. Please execute Stop.cmd before deleting the file.

The official method to uninstall phpnow is to execute Stop.cmd and then delete all files in the installation directory. Of course, your website data backup must be copied to another disk first.
Some netizens also said that you can uninstall by entering the PnCmds directory and executing "Absolute Forced Uninstall.cmd". Obviously, after executing this method, you must also manually delete the phpnow installation directory files.

The following are other supplements:

In the previous article "How to build a PHP environment under the Windows platform (illustrated version)", we have already detailed how to install PHPnow elaboration.
This article is a continuation of that article to introduce how to delete this software. If the user deletes the installed folder directly in the file manager.

## The above warning message will appear on the software computer system.

This is because the PHPnow service has not been stopped, so the computer refuses to delete this folder.

Users can find this folder and open it. In the previous article, the author installed this software in the "E:\webtestshopex" directory.

We can see that there is a "PnCp.cmd" file under this directory. Please double-click to run this file.

At this time, the computer will pop up a DOS dialog box, which is the PHPnow control panel dialog box.

At this time, the system prompts you to perform various operations on this software.

Since we need to delete this software, the user can directly enter "33" in this dialog box and press the Enter key to continue.

The meaning of the number "33" has been explained on the control panel.

#The system will display the above information soon. At this time, the software has terminated many services and processes. You are prompted to press any key to continue.

The computer will then close the DOS dialog box. At this point the user can delete the installation directory.
