php不支持mysqli，有什么办法生成mysqli.so,该怎么处理

php不支持mysqli，有什么办法生成mysqli.so
我的服务器上php没有装mysqli这个库，操作系统是radhat，请问有什么办法装上mysqli呢？

我下载了php5.2.9，
./configure –prefix=/usr/local/mysqli –with-php-config=/usr/local/php5/bin/php-config –with-mysqli=/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql_config
make;make test时编译通不过？
