The latest Guild Wars 2 expansion plunges the Commander into the Astral Ward, a clandestine order of wizards battling extra-dimensional threats. During their conflict with the Kryptis, the esteemed Mursaat member, Mabon, tragically perished.

Strength of the Unseen Achievement Guide

The collectibles are sequential; completing one unlocks the next. The final reward is obtained after finishing the main story mission, "Mabon's Fate."

Maer's Mourning	From the Bastion of Strength Waypoint (Amnytas), go northwest. Use updrafts and your Skyscale to reach the Crystalpool, then jump to Maer.
Mabon's Journal (Wizard's Tower)	In the Wizard's Tower, locate the journal on the floor above Isgarren's Quarters, below the Vista. Read it from your inventory.
A Visit to the North	From the Watchful Waypoint (Frostgorge Sound), go east to the shore.
A New Threat Emerges	From the Ascalon Settlement Waypoint (Gendarran Fields), head north to the hilltop.
Essence of Strength	Purchase from the Faction Provisioner south of the Bastion of Strength Waypoint (Amnytas) for 250 Pinches of Stardust and 100 Research Notes.
In Memorium	At the Bastion of Strength Waypoint (Amnytas), reach the Mastery Insight atop Mabon's Tower (use updrafts and your Skyscale). Channel the Insight.

Rewards

Completion grants the Relic of Mabon and the Strength of the Unseen Greatsword. These weapons, along with others, contribute to the Honorary Astral Ward Achievement, rewarding the Astral Ward Cloak upon completion.
