如题，apt-get 的时候，这两个版本有什么区别？
php5就是php5软件本身，提供php脚本执行的运行时环境(runtime)php5-dev是用来开发php扩展的，提供一些用来开发、编译php5扩展程序的必要php组件，一般是一些php源码的头文件和依赖库
如果需要通过源码方式安装一些php module，比如php5-mysql，gd等，就需要安装php5-dev，如果你需要的php扩展都可以通过apt-get直接安装，大可不必安装php5-dev
安装之后 ，你可以通过 dpkg-query -L php5-dev 来查看这个包里面包含哪些文件
感觉像是PHP5是保证所有的目前还没发现bug的稳定版，PHP5-dev就是在5之后的开发者版本（请参考楼下）
