    Oracle于近日发布了部分平台上的Oracle10gR2的PatchSet 2补丁包,版本号为10.2.0.3。
这极有可能是Oracle11g发布之前对Oracle10g的最后一次大规模修正了。

2006-11-29,率先发布的是Linux X86平台的补丁,补丁大小为:900M (944119624 bytes)
2006-12-01,紧接着发布的是Windows 32Bit平台的补丁,补丁大小为:852M (893987999 bytes)

这可以称得上是两个超大的补丁,已经超过了原始安装包的大小。

最近Oracle关于安全方面的问题不断被曝光,包括前几天炒得沸沸扬扬的0day缺陷公布计划,Cesar Cerrudo (Argeniss Information Security公司创始人)原打算于12月发起一个 WoODB (Week of Oracle Database Bugs)计划,定期公布Oracle的相关Bug,用以推动Oracle的Bug修复和问题解决。
但是后来由于一些不可细说的原因这个计划被取消了。

但是也许正是这些关于安全方面的指责使得Oracle开始大规模的修复Bug,这个巨大的Patchset可能与此有关。
