The lack of support for pseudo-classes makes it impossible to complete a pure div CSS drop-down menu in a simple way. If we want to achieve the effect of a drop-down menu in IE6, it may not be impossible to achieve it with pure CSS, but N number of HACKs need to be used, and N number of control statements must be added to the HTML code. If you don't use CSS and use JS to implement it, it will undoubtedly increase the computer's computing mechanism and reduce the efficiency of the web page.
None of this is critical. The key thing is that making a drop-down menu under IE6 becomes a very challenging thing. It is difficult for many junior web designers to design one by themselves, and they must apply and refer to other people's designs. Or, look at the JS code that you can't understand.

For example, the interfaces of TT, THEWORLD, etc. are so comfortable, who would want to use them for themselves?
The interface problem is of course serious. What’s more serious is that Firefox is completely inconsistent with the usage habits of Chinese people. This is the reason that ultimately restricts the development of Firefox in China.
