微软是于北京时间9月23日晚10点30分召开的发布会，在发布会上微软正式对外发布了Surface第二代产品：Surface 2和Surface Pro 2。
Surface 2
Surface 2即是Surface RT的第二代产品，它运行Windows RT 8.1的系统，搭载了全新处理器、1080P IPS屏幕、蓝牙4.0、USB3.0和miniDP接口，Surface一共分为2个版本，分别是32G和64G，最低从449美元起售（税前约合人民币2748元）。
Surface Pro 2
Surface 2 Pro搭载了Windows 8.1 Pro，使用了英特尔Haswell处理器，使得图形性能和处理能力得到提升的同时，续航能力也从4小时提高到了7小时，续航时间提升75％，其它硬件配置则是10.6英寸屏幕、1080P IPS屏幕，此外Surface Pro机身容量一共有4个版本，分别是64G、128G、256G和512G，其中需要指出的是64G和128G版本配备的是4G内存，而256和512G版本则配备的是8G内存，据悉第二代Surface Pro将从899美元起售（税前约合人民币5441元）。
