OGG的配置十分灵活，每一个组件都有多种配置方式，根据需要可以自行配制。下面列出常用的几种抽取进程添加方式。
为了方便阅读给抽取组取名为ex1，给进程负责从源端数据库的事务日志中抽取变化。
1.从ADD EXTRACT命令结束后开始抽取。
ADD EXTRACT ex1, TRANLOG, BEGIN NOW
2.源端数据库为3个节点的RAC，每个tread会对应一个抽取进程。注意threads参数后面跟着节点的个数。
ADD EXTRACT ex1, TRANLOG, BEGIN NOW, THREADS 3
3.抽取开始与从2014年10月1日早8：00后产生的记录。该时间是1个月之前，已经不再redo log buffer中也不会在redo logfile中，抽取进程会去寻找archivelog。
ADD EXTRACT ex1, TRANLOG, BEGIN 2014-10-1 08:00
4.创建integrated capture抽取组
ADD EXTRACT finance, INTEGRATED TRANLOG, BEGIN NOW
注意：Oracle Goldengate 11g版本开始引入了Integrated Capture Mode。该方法由数据库内部的log mining工具来完成，不再从redo中直接抽取。这种改变所带来的主要好处体现在兼容性方面。
