IBM Data Studio 是 DB2 的管理和开发工具,在 DB2 V10.1(代号 Galileo)之后将替换大家所熟知的 DB2 Control Center,成为 DB2 唯一的一款开发和管理工具,并与 DB2 V10.1 一起发布。本文主要从运维的角度帮助 Control Center 的用户顺利过渡到 Data Studio。

Data Studio 支持 Control Center 的大部分已有功能,其中 Replication Center 将作为独立安装组建保留,而其他功能大部分被 Data Studio 和 InfoSphere Optim 其他产品替换。详细见下表 1-1 的对应关系。
