Lexar NQ790 PCIe Gen4x4 solid-state drive adds 4TB version, 1,499 yuan

According to news from this site on May 31, Lexar today launched the 4TB version of the NQ790 solid-state drive, priced at 1,499 yuan.

NQ790 is PCIe Gen4x4 specification, Single-sided M.2 2280 PCB design, compatible with more installation environments.

It adopts a DRAM-less solution, supports HMB technology, is equipped with "high-quality" 3D NAND flash memory, and complies with the NVMe 1.4 protocol. The NQ790 4TB supports dynamic SLC cache with sequential read speeds of up to 7000 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 6000 MB/s.

This site’s query found that Lexar’s official website has not yet updated the random read and write performance of the NQ780 4TB version.

For reference, both the 1TB and 2TB versions of this SSD have 4K random read speeds of 800K IOPS, and 4K random write speeds of 600K IOPS.
