AM4 also has new products, AMD Ryzen 9 5900XT /7 5800XT processor released
According to news from this site on June 3, AMD announced a series of new processor products at the 2024 Taipei Computer Show today. The official promised that AM4 will be supported until 2025 and AM5 will be supported until at least 2027.
In addition to the most talked about AM5 Ryzen 9000 series processors, AMD also announced two new AM4 interface Ryzen 5000XT series products, namely 16-core Ryzen 9 5900XT and 8-core Ryzen 7 5800XT.
Both processors feature a 4.8 GHz turbo clock, a rated TDP of 105W, and both come with RGB-illuminated Wraith Prism heatsinks. The 5800XT has 36 MB of (L2 + L3) cache, while the 5900XT has a 72 MB cache.
In terms of performance, AMD claims that the 5900XT and 5800XT are neck and neck with Intel's 13th Generation (Raptor Lake-S) Corei7-13700K(F) and i5-13600K(F)in terms of gaming .
AMD has not yet announced the pricing of the new 5000XT processor, which is expected to be available in July. This site will follow up on subsequent sales news.
