Early details about more HMD-branded smartphones have surfaced online. To recap, recent leaks suggested that HMD Global was working on HMD Atlas, HMD Nighthawk and HMD Skyline. Supposedly, while the trio may share some features, they will differ in key areas like their chipsets and pricing.
However, @smashx_60 has now provided evidence of another two HMD-branded smartphones codenamed 'Ridge' and 'Xenon'. Allegedly, the former combines a Snapdragon 480 Plus chipset with a 5,000 mAh battery and 4 GB, 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. Moreover, the device is said to be configurable with 128 GB or 256 GB of storage and a 'Deluxe Edition' model that is pictured below. On top of that,@smashx_60claims that HMD Ridge has a 6.64-inch IPS display that outputs at 1080p, 90 Hz and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, as well as 50 MP primary and 8 MP front-facing cameras.
Meanwhile, HMD Xenon will serve as HMD Global's attempt to bring back the design language of classic Nokia Lumia smartphones. According to@smashx_60, HMD has equipped Xenon with a 108 MP primary camera supported by optical image stabilisation (OIS), just like HMD Nighthawk. Furthermore, they add that HMD Xenon features Snapdragon 695 or Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipsets, the latter of which being an overclocked version of the former. In fact, the leaker now believes that the device pictured above is actually the HMD Xenon and not the HMD Nighthawk. Thus, it seems that the latter may never be released; there is no word yet on an HMD Xenon launch date, either.
