With Intel's Lunar Lake laptops slated to debut this year, prices of the last-gen Meteor Lake SKUs have started to drop. You can now buy MSI's Prestige 13 AI Evo laptop for just $999 on Best Buy, making it $300 cheaper than its asking price of $1,299. Honey's price tracker confirms this is the most significant price cut the laptop has received in recent history.

The MSIs Prestige 13 AI Evo comes with a gorgeous 13.3-inch 2.8K (2,880 x 1,800) 16:10 OLED panel that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. An Intel Core Ultra 7 155H Meteor Lake processor powers the laptop. Additionally, you get 32 GB of soldered LPDDR5 6,400 memory and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. Lastly, it includes a 75 Wh battery with support or 65 Watt fast charging.

While MSI does not offer a dGPU with the Prestige AI 13 Evo, it comes with an Intel Arc iGPU, allowing you to get away with some light-to-medium gaming. Other features include an 1080p IR-enabled webcam, 2 Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, a micro SD card reader and a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet jack. Our in-depth review of the MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo with the same specs revealed praised it for its light chassis (1 kg), colour accurate OLED panel and stellar battery life. However, its chassis isn't particularly stable and the speakers leave a lot to be desired. Plus, its OLED panel has a relatively low PWM frequency (240 Hz), which could cause discomfort to some users.

Nonetheless, it is a decent deal if you aren't bothered about the Windows Copilot+ features that require a much more powerful NPU than the one included on Meteor Lake CPUs.
