GameMT E6 Plus: New retro gaming handheld released as ASUS ROG Ally lookalike for under 0

A few months ago, the likes of ETA Prime got their hands on the E6, a budget gaming handheld that he remarked resembled a 'Baby Steam Deck'. Additionally, the YouTuber mentioned that the company behind the E6 had a 'PRO version' in development with Wi-Fi and touchscreen support, as well as an updated CPU. Now, it seems that the device is available to purchase as the GameMT E6 Plus with all the upgrades that ETA Prime suggested would be present while resembling the ASUS ROG Ally and other high-profile gaming handhelds.

Specifically, the E6 Plus features a Rockchip RK3566 chipset rather than the Rockchip RK3326 that powers the standard E6. As such, the E6 Plus should be powerful enough to emulate PlayStation and Nintendo 64 (N64) games, as well as some GameCube and PlayStation Portable (PSP) titles. Unfortunately, GameMT's decision to include 2 GB of RAM may hold the E6 Plus back in some tasks. With that being said, manyRockchip RK3566-based gaming handhelds ship with 1 GB of RAM, such as the Powkiddy RGB10 Max 3 (curr. $89.99 on Amazon).

Moreover, the E6 Plus also finds itself with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as a pair of Micro SD cards, 32 GB of eMMC flash storage and a 3.5 mm jack. On top of that, GameMT has included a 5,000 mAh battery and a 5-inch touchscreen display that outputs at 1,280 x 720 pixels. Alternatively, the device can output to an external monitor via a built-in mini HDMI port. Currently, the E6 Plus is available to order from AliExpress for $74.99 in multiple colour options, all with Android pre-installed.
