HMD Skyline: Nokia Lumia reincarnation leaks with Samsung ISOCELL HP2 108 MP camera before rumoured July release

X (formerly Twitter) account @smashx_60 has been on something of a roll lately, having delivered numerous HMD Global-related leaks in the last few weeks. For example, the account recently provided information about HMD Atlas, as well as HMD Ridge and HMD Xenon. Now, they have has shared more details about HMD Skyline, another Nokia Lumia-inspired device that turned up earlier this month courtesy of Finnish website SuomiMobiili.

Specifically, @smashx_60 claims that HMD Global has equipped HMD Skyline with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that outputs at 1080p with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus coverage and a 120 Hz refresh rate. On top of that, the display integrates an optical fingerprint scanner and appears to have relatively thin bezels thanks to the squared-off frame surrounding it. Moreover, @smashx_60 reports that HMD Global has included a 32 MP front-facing camera that not only supports autofocus but also supports optical image stabilisation (OIS).

Furthermore, the device is still thought to contain a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, which HMD Global is said to have complemented with 8 GB and 12 GB of RAM configurations, along with a 4,900 mAh battery that supports 33 W wired and 30 W wireless charging. Meanwhile, its rumoured 108 MP primary camera is alleged to be the Samsung ISOCELL HM2 found in numerous Honor, Motorola, Redmi and Xiaomi smartphones. Supposedly, this camera will sit alongside 8 MP ultra-wide and 2 MP tertiary cameras, although we imagine that the ISOCELL HM2 will do most of the heavy lifting in this regard. Based on the image below, it seems that HMD Skyline may arrive on July 10; this could be an illustrative date, though.
