Second World Games Announces New Web3 Fantasy League Game, Raises M in Token Presale

Blockchain game developer Second World Games has announced a new web3 game, ahead of its token launch on June 26th.

The company has also announced that it has secured $3 million via a token presale.

Second World: New Era is a mobile-based strategy city-builder that is inspired by Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. It is the company’s second title and is currently live. The game is deployed on Immutable zkEVM and features a PVP leaderboard based rewards system and NFTs.

The team has now unveiled Fantasy Troop, a fantasy league title that is integrated into the New Era game. Fantasy Troop aims to appeal to both web2 players and web3 investors by combining active gameplay and strategic management, encouraging collaborative gameplay.

The game is currently in a test phase and is looking to launch in July 2024.

Second World Games has also announced that it has raised $3 million in a token presale, with participation from Volpex CEO Paul Saliba and Bit2Me CEO Koh Onozawa. Second World’s native utility token SWIO will launch on June 26th.

Founded in 2022 by Carlos Cameo and Íñigo Cavestany, Second World Games is focused on creating web3 games that prioritize immersive gameplay over complex crypto integration.
