部分波音 737 Max、787 和空客 A220 飞机被曝使用伪造证明材料的钛制零件

According to news from this site on June 17, the New York Times reported that Spirit AeroSystems (Note from this site: Spirit AeroSystems provides fuselages for Boeing and aircraft for Airbus) Wing) said that titanium parts on some recently manufactured Boeing and Airbus aircraft were found to have forged certification materials, and all suspected titanium has been removed from the company's supply chain.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said it is investigating the scope of the problem and trying to determine the short- and long-term safety impacts of aircraft built with these parts. Parts manufactured from problematic materials.

Reports say the affected aircraft include some Boeing 737 Max, Boeing 787 and Airbus A220.

Spirit AeroSystems said that related titanium materials have been used in various aircraft components and are confirming whether parts made from these materials are strong enough. They are determining the most effective removal and replacement methods to replace affected parts. .

Both Boeing and Airbus said their testing of the affected materials has so far revealed no problems. Boeing said it directly purchases most of the titanium used in aircraft production, so most supplies should not be affected.

Boeing issued a statement: "To ensure compliance, we are removing any affected parts from the aircraft before delivery. Our analysis shows that the in-service fleet can continue to fly safely ."

An Airbus spokesperson responded: "The airworthiness of the A220 remains intact and we have conducted extensive testing of parts from the same supply source."
