MSI MEG 321URX QD-OLED: Launch pricing for \'world\'s first true AI gaming monitor\' revealed

It seems that MSI actually intends to release the MEG 321URX, a monitor that it described as 'world's first true AI gaming monitor' last month during Computex 2024. Typically, a short lead time is often expected with devices announced at trade shows like Computex 2024. However, MSI first showcased the MEG 321URX in January at CES 2024, where it also presented other QD-OLED monitors like the MAG 271QPX (curr. $749.99 on Amazon).

Ultimately, the MEG 321URX contains the same underlying Gen 3 QD-OLED panel as the MPG 321URX, which MSI priced at $949. As such, the MEG 321URX outputs at 4K across its 31.5-inch panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms GtG response times. For reference, the monitor contains the following ports too:

  • 1x 3.5 mm jack
  • 1x DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20 bandwidth)
  • 2x HDMI 2.1 (4K/240Hz)
  • 1x USB 2.0 Type-B
  • 2x USB 2.0 Type-A
  • 1x USB Type-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode/98 W Power Delivery)

As far as we can tell, MSI has not officially confirmed MEG 321URX pricing yet. Instead, TFTCentral has received information that MSI will price the monitor at $1,699.99. In other words, MSI will charge almost 80% more for its AI Sky Sight, Gaming Intelligence and SpectrumBar technologies. Please see the image below and our earlier article for more details about these three technologies. Unfortunately, MSI has not decided when it will start mass producing the MEG 321URX yet.
