New Epic Games Store giveaway arrives with twist from what was previously announced

Epic Games is lining up to refresh its free game of the week giveaway. For context, it has been offering Redout 2 for $0.00 since last Thursday, which typically sells for $19.99 on the Epic Games Store and Steam. Additionally, the former provided new in-game items for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms at no extra cost.

While today is the day for the Store's latest refresh, Epic Games quietly switched out the game that it initially highlighted last week. To recap, the company had suggested that it was planning to give away Lego Builder's Journey. However, it quietly dropped this offer in favour of a different game and another round of free in-game items for a second title.

Specifically, the Epic Games Store has decided to reduce Freshly Frosted to $0.00 this week, which retails for $9.99. On top of that, the storefront will allow account holders to redeem three in-game bonuses for Rumble Club, a free-to-play physics-based online multiplayer. Please note that this week's giveaways will start at 15:00 UTC. The list of free in-game items being given away for Rumble Club this week is as follows:
