The dust has settled on the official announcement of the Xiaomi 14 CIVI, the fourth device in the series after the Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Ultra (curr. $1,199.99 on Amazon). To recap, the Xiaomi 14 CIVI is one of the few devices that relies upon the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, Qualcomm's lesser alternative to the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. For context, the Xiaomi 14 CIVI is rivalled by the Honor 200 Pro and Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, which are available globally.
By contrast, it appears that Xiaomi only intends to sell the Xiaomi 14 CIVI in India. Incidentally, Xiaomi has now released the device in India, where it starts at INR 42,999 (~$515) with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage in three colour options. Alternatively, the Xiaomi 14 CIVI is available with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage for INR 47,999 (~$574), also in Cruise Blue, Matcha Green and Shadow Black colour options.
It is worth noting that these are only introductory prices. Consequently, Xiaomi may eventually charge significantly more for the Xiaomi 14 CIVI, although it has not confirmed when that will be the case.
