Now, the Citizen Coinage Advisory Committee and the Commission of Fine Arts have approved a design for the 2026 Native American dollar that will feature the Oneida warriors and Polly Cooper. The design was chosen after two rounds of reviews by the CCAC and CFA, and will now be submitted to the Secretary of the Treasury for final approval.

The obverse of the 2026 Native American dollar will feature Glenna Goodacre’s portrayal of Sacagawea carrying her infant son, Jean-Baptiste.
