Motorola has now released the Moto S50 Neo, a few days on from its initial reveal. For context, the Moto S50 Neo arrives alongside the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra, launch details of which we have covered separately. As for the Moto S50 Neo, it is expected to be the Chinese version of the Moto G85, a follow-up to last year's Moto G84 (curr. $229.99 on Amazon).
As Motorola's images show, the Moto S50 Neo comes in a standard glossy back finish or more elaborate purple and yellow finishes. All colour options feature the same underlying hardware though, including a 6.7-inch pOLED display that resolves at 1080p with 1,600 nits peak brightness and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the Gorilla Glass 5-protected display hides an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 32 MP front-facing camera.

Furthermore, the handset has an ultra-wide-angle camera, although this only outputs at 8 MP with an f/2.2 aperture. On top of that, Motorola has equipped the Moto S50 Neo with aQualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3chipset and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 30 W wired charging.
For reference, the Moto S50 Neo starts at CNY 1,399 (~$193) in China with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Alternatively, Motorola offers various memory configurations up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, for which it charges CNY 1,899 (~$261). Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when the Moto S50 Neo will be available globally as the Moto G85.
