Samsung confirms Galaxy Unpacked date and opens pre-registrations for $5,000 sweepstakes

At this point, it has become abundantly clear that Samsung' next Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for July 10. It was first teased by renowned leaker Evan Blass and subsequently confirmed by a Dutch carrier. Samsung has now officially acknowledged the date and even put out a teaser about the event's physical location (Paris). Then again, even this isn't new information as it was already spoiled earlier.

Samsung is also giving a $50 credit (minimum $500 purchase required) to those who pre-register for the event. Plus, it has announced a sweepstake for up to $5,000 in Samsung Store credit. You can enter by registering yourself on Samsung's website.

No purchase is required for you to win. However, only legal residents of the United States are allowed to enter the contest.
