Genshin Impact: Endless Forms Most Martial Event guide
Running from June 25 to July 1, the Endless Forms Most Martial Event has you picking the correct team comps to defeat enemies according to specific objectives. If you don’t defeat those enemies according to the challenge objective, you won’t pass.
There are also three difficulty levels in each stage, allowing you to earn plenty of rewards. The higher the difficulty, the less time you have to complete the objectives.
There’s another unique aspect of this event called Phase Shift, which triggers as you start to defeat enemies according to the challenge objective. Once the bar fills, the Phase Shift effect will enact, and it will buff your party in different ways depending on which challenge you’re on. Phase Shift will help you complete the objective within the time limit.
Endless Forms Most Martial Event rewards
If you complete the objective within the set amount of time, you’ll be able to collect your rewards. There are rewards given for completing each challenge’s difficulty.
- Primogems
- Hero’s Wit
- Mystic Enhancement Ore
- Talent Level Up materials
- Mora
Best team comps for Endless Forms Most Martial Event
Challenge 1
Objective | Challenge Info | Best Team Comp |
---|---|---|
Complete20 times: Defeat an opponent withinthree secondsof triggering anOverloadedreaction on them. | Initial Phase: After a character triggers anOverloadedreaction, the Elemental Mastery of all party members is increased by180forsix seconds.Phase Shift: For20 secondsafter entering Phase Shift, when a party member triggers theOverloadedreaction on an opponent, a vortex that sucks opponents in will be created at that opponent’s location. This effect can be triggered once everysix seconds. | Thoma (trial), Keqing (trial), Raiden, Xiangling |
To trigger the Overloaded effect, you must add the Electro and Pyro effects together. This means that your team should mainly consist of Pyro and Electro characters. Keep the trial characters Thoma and Keqing, and I’d recommend Raiden and Xiangling for even more Overloaded damage.
Challenge 2
Objective | Challenge Info | Best Team Comp |
---|---|---|
Complete15 times: Defeat an opponent withinthree secondsof triggering anOverloadedreaction on them. | Initial Phase: After a character triggers anOverloadedreaction, all party members gain10%Pyro and Electro DMG Bonus forfive seconds. This effect can stack up tofivetimes.Phase Shift: For20 secondsafter entering Phase Shift, Initial Phae will be enhanced: After a character triggers anOverloadedreaction, all party members gain20%Pyro and Electro DMG Bonus for five seconds. This effect can stack up to5times. | Chevreuse (trial), Clorinde (trial), Fischl, Arlecchino |
Just like the first challenge, you’ll want characters paired together who can create an Overloaded effect. Pick the two trial characters Chevreuse and Clorinde, then it’s up to you which other two Pyro and Electro characters should help out. Fischl and Arlecchino are great DPS characters that can help apply the Overloaded effect alongside heavy damage.
Challenge 3
Objective | Challenge Info | Best Team Comp |
---|---|---|
Defeat22opponents affected byElectro-Charged. | Initial Phase: All party members receive a35%Hydro and Electro DMG Bonus.Phase Shift: For20 secondsafter entering Phase Shift, when opponents affected byElectro-Chargedare hit, a shockwave will be released at their position, dealing AoE DMG. | Raiden (trial), Xingqiu (trial), Clorinde, Furina |
To trigger the Electro-Charged reaction, you’ll want to pair together Electro and Hydro characters. As usual, pick the free trial characters Raiden and Xingqiu who can trigger this effect on their own. You should also bring along another Electro-Charged pairing, and I chose Clorinde and Furina.
Challenge 4
Objective | Challenge Info | Best Team Comp |
---|---|---|
Defeat24opponents affected byElectro-Charged. | Initial Phase: Whenthree or more opponents on the field are affected byElectro-Charged, all party members deal50%increased DMG.Phase Shift: For20 secondsafter entering Phase Shift, when a character’s attack hits an opponent, a shockwave will be unleashed at that opponent’s location, dealing AoE Anemo DMG. This effect can be triggered up to once everyfour seconds. | Beidou (trial), Kokomi (trial), Kazuha, Keqing |
Similar to the previous challenge, this time you have to defeat more opponents with the Electro-Charged reaction, so grab the trial characters Beidou and Kokomi. Interestingly, the Phase Shift deals AoE Anemo DMG, and Kazuha specializes in that. I picked another character who could apply Electro damage, who ended up being Keqing.
Challenge 5
Objective | Challenge Info | Best Team Comp |
---|---|---|
Defeat10opponents affected byFrozen. | Initial Phase: When opponents are affected byFrozen, their DEF is decreased by30%.Phase Shift: For20 secondsafter entering Phase Shift, the CRIT DMG of all party members is increased by60%. | Barbara (trial), Ayaka (trial), Chongyun, Xingqiu |
For this challenge, you must make enemies Frozen, which can happen when Hydro and Cryo damage intertwines. For this reason, you should mainly pick Cryo and Hydro characters, so grab the trial characters Barbara and Ayaka. I also went with Cryo-user Chongyun and Hydro-user Xingqiu.
Challenge 6
Objective | Challenge Info | Best Team Comp |
---|---|---|
Defeateightopponents affected byFrozen. | Initial Phase: Whenever the total time opponents have been affected byFrozenexceedsthree seconds, they will lose25%of their Max HP.Phase Shift: For20 secondsafter entering Phase Shift, DMG taken by opponents affected byFrozenwill be increased by50%. | Ayato (trial), Charlotte (trial), Xingqiu, Ayaka |
Although you only have to defeat eight Frozen enemies this time, your Phase Shift increases damage to Frozen enemies. Like all the other challenges, pick the trial characters who are Ayato and Charlotte this time, and for more Hydro and Cryo reactions go for characters like Xingqiu and Ayaka.
Until Challenges 7 and 8 are released, these are all the challenges we can help you out with so far. It’s all about knowing which characters can trigger the specific reactions you want, which isn’t too difficult to figure out. While playing this event, you should prepare yourself for the Imaginarium Theater to arrive as well.
