The entire track laying construction will start from Shanghai Songjiang Station and will be carried out directly to the two ends of Shanghai Hongqiao Station and Huzhou Station. The ballastless track section of the Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-speed Railway is operated by the WZ500E long track track laying machine, which can lay 12 kilometers of track in a single day at the fastest speed. The ballasted track section is operated by the CYP500 long track track laying machine independently developed by China Railway Second Bureau, and the fastest track laying time is 2.5 kilometers in a single day.
The "Yangtze River Delta Railway" stated that the Shanghai-Suzhou-Lake High-speed Railway is expected to enter the static acceptance stage at the end of July this year, and will be ready for operation by the end of the year.
