DJI has had a quiet few months after releasing the Mini 4K (curr. $299.99. on Amazon), a drone that was a re-branded Mini 2 in most practical senses. However, it seems that the company is preparing to introduce a new Air series drone. For context, DJI released the Air 3 at the end of July 2023 with a pair of 48 MP cameras and 46-minute flight times.
Given DJI's recent release schedules, we imagine that it will introduce a new Air-branded sometime in Q3 2024. At the time of writing, the company has not teased a new Air drone yet. The likes of @Quadro_News assert that the next model in the series will arrive as the Air 3S, though.
According to @Quadro_News, the Air 3S is already undergoing test flights. Currently, few specifications about the Air 3S are known. With that being said, the sightings that have leaked so far appear to show two cameras, just like last year's Air 3. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen at what stage of development the Air 3S is at for now.
