This website reported on July 8 that according to the YouTube channel Gamers Nexus video, Zotac, a hardware brand well-known for its graphics cards, had previously experienced a serious server configuration error.

This error led to information leakage in Zotac’s after-sales and other systems, involving ordinary consumers and corporate customers.

Gamers Nexus stated that it could directly search the information submitted by users when applying for RMA after-sales on Google. After clicking, you can directly see the content that has not been encrypted by Zotac, including sensitive information such as the name and address of the applying user:

Zotac immediately dealt with this serious data leakage incident after receiving the reminder from Gamers Nexus. Currently, the relevant leaked pages have been encrypted, and after-sales communication has been temporarily switched to email.

However, foreign media Tom's Hardware noticed that there are still a certain number of leaked page caches that can be found on Google. These cached pages still contain some valuable information and need to be processed manually.

Zotac official responded that the leak was limited to the United States, and after-sales service in China used encrypted email to contact them, and no information was leaked.
