Worldcoin has announced the recipients of Wave 1 grants, totaling 17 projects that will contribute to the ecosystem's development.
The grants, ranging from novel governance mechanisms to Secure Multi-party Computation (SMPC) and improved developer experiences, aim to enhance Worldcoin's capabilities.
Among the grantees is Encode Club, which will foster a new generation of developers through an 8-week training program.
Another grantee, TACEO, will continue to receive support for its work in protecting biometric data, including the development of new SMPC iterations.
Other grantees include Wormhole, zkSnap, Herodotus, Worldpoll, Coometh, Agora, and BBB &company, each offering unique solutions.
notably, Wormhole will integrate Worldcoin's World ID into Solana, facilitating blockchain identity verification.
