Mask Network to Participate in the IXO™ 2024: Embrace the Future! conference in Seoul

Mask Network will be participating in the IXO™ 2024: Embrace the Future! conference in Seoul from July 9 to July 10. The conference is being organized in collaboration with TOKENPOST and TON.

Mask Network is a protocol that enables encrypted messaging over social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook. It was founded in July 2019 with the aim of creating a bridge between the conventional internet and a decentralized network layered over it.

Initially conceived to allow encryption of posts on Facebook and Twitter, the Mask Network has since evolved to facilitate direct funding of Gitcoin grant campaigns via Twitter, with plans to introduce peer-to-peer payments and decentralized storage solutions. By integrating DApps, the platform enables users to access functionalities like crypto payments, decentralized finance, and e-commerce (including NFTs) on existing social networks. This unique integration gives rise to what’s termed the decentralized Applet (DApplet) ecosystem, allowing users to harness decentralized services without leaving their favorite platforms.

The MASK token is the governance token associated with Mask Network. Its administration is overseen by MaskDAO, a decentralized autonomous organization. Token holders have the privilege to vote on pivotal decisions concerning the MaskDAO, wherein each MASK token is equivalent to one vote.
