A local community dedicated to promoting digital and NFT art, CryptoArt Philippines, has recently organized a three-day exhibit titled “Decked Out: Art Reimagined.” The event took place in Makati and showcased the works of 15 NFT artists.
Each artist was tasked with reinterpreting a card from a standard deck of cards, merging traditional and digital art techniques. The resulting artworks were displayed in a variety of formats, including prints, digital screens, and even projections on the building facade.
The exhibit aimed to highlight the growing influence of NFT art in the Philippines, providing a platform for local artists to showcase their creativity and engage with a broader audience. Despite the challenges faced by the NFT art space, such as market volatility and the environmental impact of blockchain technology, the event was a significant success in showcasing the diverse talents of Filipino NFT artists.
In February, CryptoArt PH also participated in the Art Fair Philippines, where they had an exhibit called “Whisper of the Tides.” The showcase featured a collection of digital media masterpieces.
