The U.S. Mint has announced the initial sales figures for the 2024-P Uncirculated Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars, which became available on July 11.

Priced at $91 each, these coins sold a combined total of 349,029 coins by July 14. This compares to last year’s pair of dollars, which logged a combined total of 527,940 coins and sold out quickly at their lower price of $76 apiece.

Sales of the uncirculated 2024 Morgan Silver Dollar totaled 178,120 coins, consisting of 169,280 coins from the standalone option (product code 24XE) and 221 units from the 40-coin bulk option (product code 24XE040), which amounts to 8,840 coins.

Meanwhile, the uncirculated 2024 Peace Silver Dollar reached a total of 170,909 coins, consisting of 162,429 coins from the standalone option (product code 24XH) and 212 units from the 40-coin bulk option (product code 24XH040), which equates to 8,480 coins.

Each of the individual Morgan and Peace Dollar options has a product limit of 275,000. Both were the Mint’s best-selling products for the week.

U.S. Mint Top Sellers

In its latest report, the U.S. Mint published sales data for 468 numismatic products. The data revealed that 30 products outperformed their sales from the previous week, compared to 130 in the prior report. Four products experienced week-over-week increases of more than 1,000 units, compared to 5 in the prior report.

Six products recorded negative weekly sales, compared to 2 in the previous report. All but one of the production reductions exceeded several hundred units. The four leaders were each of the Dr. Mary Edwards Walker quarter roll and bag products, with their losses ranging from 476 to 927.
