Four new limited edition $2 coins are being released by Woolworths to celebrate the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.
The coins will be available from Wednesday, July 17, with a new coin released each week.
There are three 2024 Australian Olympic Team themed coins to collect and one 2024 Australian Paralympic Team coin. They are coloured green and gold.
The $2 Australian Olympic Team Community coin will be the first coin released and features a kangaroo, emu, Commonwealth Star and the Olympic rings.
The other Olympic Team coins, AllezAus and Olympism, feature kangaroos competing in Paris with the Eiffel Tower depicted in the background.

2024 $1 Australian Paralympic Team - August 28

“To celebrate the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic games, the Royal Australian Mint are releasing four new coins. Check your change in stores to secure one of these limited edition coins,” Woolworths said.
There are also three 2024 Australian Olympic Team themed $1 coins and one 2024 Australian Paralympic Team $1 coin available from the Royal Australian Mint.
These coins are available in uncirculated and proof qualities, and can be purchased individually or as a four-coin set.
The Mint also has a range of other Olympic and Paralympic coins available, including gold and silver bullion coins.
