This integration allows developers and users on Taiko to access Alchemy Pay’s services through the Taiko ecosystem listing page. It enables crypto purchases and sales via preferred payment methods in 173 countries.

Announcing the integration on Twitter, Taiko said that its native token, $TAIKO, is now listed on Alchemy Pay’s ramp page, making it easier to acquire $TAIKO. This aims to expand the user base and encourage greater engagement within Taiko’s ecosystem.

“We are excited to announce that $TAIKO is now listed on Alchemy Pay's Ramp Page, enabling users to easily purchase Taiko's native token using various payment methods in 173 countries,” Taiko announced.

Taiko is the Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum that is built on Ethereum. Compared to other rollups, in Taiko, the sequencing is done by Ethereum L1 validators, meaning that there is no central authority for sequencing. This Ethereum-equivalent design means that developers can continue to leverage familiar tools and additionally, any contract that runs on Ethereum will run on Taiko.

Alchemy Pay’s On-Ramp is compatible with various cryptocurrencies while allowing fiat-based purchases. Alchemy Pay is present in 173 countries across the globe. It also boasts an extensive payment network. It makes it easy for users to acquire cryptocurrencies using both credit cards, mobile wallets, and bank transfers.

Alchemy Pay Strengthens Global Credibility with New Licenses

With Alchemy Pay as a payment gateway solution, the company has secured several compliance licenses in the US, Canada, Indonesia, and Lithuania. Newly obtained Money Transmitter License in New Hampshire and Authorized Payment Institution License in the UK make Alchemy Pay a more credible one in the international market. Approved by Visa and Mastercard, Alchemy Pay officially receives the status of a payment service provider.
