Insider trading and the use of undisclosed information to obtain improper benefits are prohibited. Fraudulent behavior, inducing users to trade for profit, and illegally obtaining assets or information is prohibited. Improper promotion, misleading users or using illegal means to promote products and services is prohibited. Unfair competition, defamation of other merchants or unfair competition are prohibited. It is prohibited to violate laws and regulations and engage in illegal activities such as money laundering. Comply with platform rules and maintain platform order and user rights.

OKEx Merchant Conduct Rules

1. It is prohibited to manipulate the market

• It is prohibited to use false transactions, washouts and other unfair means to manipulate the market and affect asset prices.
• It is prohibited to manipulate trading volume or transaction price to deceive users.

2. Insider trading is prohibited

• It is prohibited to trade while knowing inside information to obtain improper benefits.
• Trading based on undisclosed information is prohibited and affects market prices.

3. Fraudulent behavior is prohibited

• It is prohibited to induce users to trade and seek improper benefits through deception, concealment, etc.
• It is prohibited to use illegal means to obtain user assets or personal information.

4. Improper promotion is prohibited

• False or exaggerated publicity is prohibited to mislead users into transactions.

5. Unfair competition is prohibited

6. Violation of laws and regulations is prohibited

7. Comply with platform rules

• Merchants must abide by the platform rules set by OKEx and maintain platform order and user rights.

Penalty for Violation

For merchants who violate the rules of merchant conduct, OKEx will take the following punitive measures depending on the severity of the case:

• Warning
• Restricted transactions
• Account freezing
• Permanent ban
