Data show that in June 2024, mobile phone shipments in the domestic market totaled 24.912 million units, a year-on-year increase of 12.5%. Among them, 5G mobile phones accounted for 22.131 million units, a year-on-year increase of 27.8%, accounting for 88.8% of mobile phone shipments in the same period. From January to June 2024, mobile phone shipments in the domestic market totaled 147 million units, a year-on-year increase of 13.2%. Among them, 5G mobile phones accounted for 124 million units, a year-on-year increase of 21.5%, accounting for 84.4% of mobile phone shipments during the same period.

New models launched

1. In June 2024, 26 new mobile phone models were launched in China, a year-on-year increase of 18.2%:

   • 11 5G mobile phones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 57.1%, accounting for 11 new mobile phone models launched in the same period. 42.3% of the number of models.

2. From January to June 2024, 205 new models of domestic mobile phones were launched, a year-on-year increase of 1.0%:

   • 109 5G mobile phones, a year-on-year increase of 28.2%, accounting for 53.2% of the number of new mobile phone models launched in the same period .

In June 2024, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 22.043 million units, a year-on-year increase of 12.7%, accounting for 88.5% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 26 new models were launched, It increased by 30.0% year-on-year, accounting for 100% of the number of new mobile phone models launched during the same period.

From January to June 2024, domestic brand mobile phones shipped 124 million units, a year-on-year increase of 17.6%, accounting for 84.4% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 192 new models were launched, a year-on-year increase of 1.6%, accounting for 84.4% of mobile phone shipments in the same period. 93.7% of the number of new models.

Domestic smartphone development situation

1. Smartphone shipments: 23.841 million units, a year-on-year increase of 14.3%
