AYANEO continues to tease the release of what it has previously claimed is the world's first Android gaming handheld with a 120 Hz OLED display. As usual, it has not confirmed too many details about the device yet, which it currently refers to as the Pocket EVO. However, it has now hinted that this could change before the end of the week.
To recap, it is already known that the Pocket EVO will eventually arrive sporting Qualcomm's Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 chipset. Consequently, it will likely perform about as well as the Pocket S (curr. $752.95 on Amazon), one of three Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 gaming handhelds that AYANEO has announced so far after the Pocket DMG too. Moreover, it has teased that it will complement the Pocket EVO's 7-inch display with an '8,*** mAh' battery.
As the image below shows, AYANEO intends to reveal more details about the Pocket EVO on August 2. Please note that while the teaser image refers to 08:00 EST (11:00 UTC), this likely means 08:00 EDT (12:00 UTC). Also, AYANEO's 'sharing sessions' are not product releases. Thus, the Pocket EVO is likely still a while off from being available to purchase.
