One-Netbook has now released the ONEXPLAYER M1, a device that is the spitting image of the ONEXGPU (curr. $699.99 on Amazon). However, while theONEXGPUis an eGPU, the ONEXPLAYER M1 is a mini-PC powered by Intel Meteor Lake-H processors. Specifically, One-Netbook only offers the mini-PC with the Core Ultra 9 185H, a 16-core processor that is also currently the most powerful in Intel's Meteor Lake-H product stack.
Typically, theCore Ultra 9 185Hhas up to a 45 W thermal design power (TDP) at its disposal. However, One-Netbook has included a 'Turbo' button to overclock the processor's TDP to 60 W. Ultimately though, it remains to be seen how much additional performance theCore Ultra 9 185Hcan provide with a 33% higher peak TDP. At any rate, One-Netbook complements the processor with DDR5 RAM clocked at 5,600 MT/s. Please note that although the ONEXPLAYER M1 product listing reports that it has 'DDR5X' RAM, this is inaccurate.
Moreover, the ONEXPLAYER M1 has an M.2 2280 slot, a pair of USB 4 ports, two HDMI ports, a single DisplayPort and an OCuLink connection for adding an eGPU. The ONEXPLAYER M1 starts at $699 with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. Alternatively, the mini-PC can be purchased with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB or 2 TB of storage for $799 and $899, respectively. On top of that, One-Netbook is also offering the mini-PC with itsONEXGPUfor a $650 surcharge, a $50 saving on picking up the eGPU separately.
