This site reported on August 5 that Intel’s Lunar Lake series mobile processors will be officially launched on September 3. While the exact number of SKUs to launch and available laptops is currently unclear, Intel is preparing at least nine models that will fall under the Core Ultra 9, Ultra 7, and Ultra 5 series.
MSI’s new Prestige 13 laptop appeared on Geekbench today, revealing a Core Ultra 5 228V processor for the first time.
The processor has an 8-core CPU with a turbo frequency of 4.5GHz (actually 4485 MHz) and comes with 32GB of memory. The CPU scored 2585 points in the single-core test and 10053 points in the multi-core test. Although it belongs to the 17W series, its single-core running score is already better than the 54W Core Ultra 9 185H (Meteor Lake).
The Core Ultra 5 228V is expected to be the penultimate product in the new series. There is also an Ultra 5 226V with basically similar specifications, and the memory is reduced to 16GB.
This website noticed that the main difference between Core Ultra 9 and Ultra 7 is TDP and CPU frequency. The Core Ultra 9 uses a 30W PL1 TDP, while the Ultra 7 uses 17W PL1 by default.
The difference between Ultra 7 and Ultra 5 is mainly in the core graphics, Ultra 5 has 7 Xe2 cores, while Ultra 7 has 8 cores.
The above is the detailed content of Intel Core Ultra 5 228V processor benchmarks revealed for the first time, 17~30W low-end single-core super 54W flagship Ultra 9 185H. For more information, please follow other related articles on the PHP Chinese website!
