Doodles and Azuki Are Making NFTs Bullish Again With New Cartoon-Themed Films and Soundtracks

Azuki non-fungible token collection creator Chiru Labs has introduced its first mini-short cartoon film with Mizuki (Elemental #9195), a carefree member of the Water Domain. This short-form, social-first content builds on the Azuki universe and is aimed at enticing new audiences in the NFT sector with moments from Azuki characters’ stories.

“Meet Mizuki ?Our first mini shorts introduce Mizuki (Elemental #9195), a carefree member of the Water Domain. This short-form, social-first content builds on the Azuki universe and will reach new audiences with moments from Azuki characters’ stories,” Azuki announced in a tweet on Monday.

Founded in 2021, Chiru Labs is a web3 studio shaping the future of NFTs through storytelling. The Azuki creator builds digital products at the intersection of art, technology, and community. Chiru Labs is home to some leading NFT collections, including Azuki, Azuki Elemental, Beanz, and Beanz Elementals. Its NFTs are inspired by anime artwork.

The blue-chip Azuki creator is focusing on reviving the non-fungible token market through UGCs. By description, user-generated content (UGC) is any content, text, videos, images, reviews, etc, created by people rather than brands. In that context, Azuki anticipates allowing its non-fungible token holders to contribute to the storytelling experience within its Azuki Universe.

Meanwhile, Doodles, the creator of Doodles non-fungible token collection, is working relentlessly to revive NFTs through immersive storytelling in a cinematic format and animated soundtracks, among other digital items.

“Next up on DoodlesTV → “Not in the Store” by @coi_leray & @Pharrell feat. @adidasOriginals,” Doodles announced in a tweet on Tuesday.

Late last month, Doodles unveiled its direct-to-community platform, DoodlesTV, giving fans boundless access to music releases, video premieres and more. Doodles will allow fans to purchase a DoodlesTV season one all-access media pass next week, giving an early viewing to “Dullsville and the Doodleverse.” DoodlesTv Season 1 pass mint has been completed, with over 20,000 content passes sold.

“Officially presenting Doodles Records and its first project, the ‘Dullsville and the Doodleverse’ soundtrack. Produced by @Pharrell, featuring @LilTunechi @SwaeLee @LilYachty @coi_leray + kyle richh. Details below,” Doodles announced in a tweet on July 29.

Doodles plans to launch more NFT soundtracks with some of the world’s most legendary and relevant artists in the coming weeks, including Coi Leray and Pharrell's “Not in the Store,” soundtrack later this week. Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty and Kyle Richh's “Can't Hold Me Down” is slated in late August, while Swae Lee, Lil Yachty and Pharrell's “Doodleverse (Draw Me Closer)” is scheduled to launch in September 2024.
