According to news on August 6, at this afternoon’s new product launch conference, Huawei launched a variety of products, including Xiangjie S9, multi-port chargers, etc.

This charging head body adopts a white shell, is equipped with foldable pins, supports PD/PPS/QC protocols, and adopts a "USB-A / USB-C fusion interface + USB-C interface" dual-port design.

The single-port output of this charging head is 100W, and the dual-port output is available in four combinations of 88W+18W/66W+40W/40W + 66W/18W+88W.

As for the charging speed, official data shows that Huawei nova 12 Pro can replenish 60% of the battery in just 10 minutes; Mate 60 Pro can charge to 98% in 30 minutes; and Mate X5 can charge to 98% in 30 minutes. Charge to 86% in minutes.

In addition, the charger uses a high-efficiency dual-channel current sharing architecture, GaN gallium nitride material, graphite heat dissipation material, and the pins are foldable.

Huawei has previously put on the shelves a charger with a fusion port design. Users can only plug in one USB-A or USB-C cable at the same time and do not support dual-port charging at the same time.

This design has caused some controversy, but Huawei Terminal BG CTO Bruce Lee explained that this is to give users a better experience.

Bruce Lee explained: "Only one port of A or C can output voltage at the same time. In order to prevent the user from plugging in the cable but not outputting voltage, resulting in no charging or mistakenly thinking that the charger is faulty, physical interference is used. This way, users can only plug in one charging cable at the same time. This design also reduces the user’s learning cost.”
