The highlight of this scientific expedition is that the "Deep Sea No. 1" ship will carry the "Jiaolong" manned submersible to jointly launch a 45-day maritime scientific survey mission.

1. "Deep Sea No. 1" is my country's first support mother ship designed specifically for manned submersibles. Its design and construction are both undertaken by the 708th Research Institute of CSSC. The ship has a length of 90.2 meters, a width of 16.8 meters, a design displacement of 4,500 tons, and a powerful endurance of more than 12,000 nautical miles.
