You can currently score the 512 GB Lenovo Legion Go for $551.76 on Amazon. This is the lowest recorded price for the gaming handheld, and it generally goes for $699.99 when it's not on sale.

As for the handheld, the Lenovo Legion Go is one of the uniquely designed gaming handhelds out there. It may seem like the company took a page from Nintendo's book, as it features the same detachable controller design as the Nintendo Switch. However, you don't get the local multiplayer aspect of the latter, but the good part is that one of the controllers can act like a mouse.

Besides that, the gaming handheld comes with a relatively larger screen than the competition. For example, the Asus ROG Ally and the recently launched ROG Ally Xfeature a 7-inch screen, while Lenovo's offering sports an 8.8-inch display. This does mean you will get a more immersive gaming experience, but it does hurt the probability a little.

On the bright side, we found the Lenovo Legion Go to be reasonably lightweight for its size. The soft-shell case that it comes packed with also makes it a bit more travel-friendly.

When it comes to performance, the gaming handheld comes with the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme. It features the Radeon 780M, which was the most powerful iGPU before the launch of the Strix Point Lineup. In our benchmarks, the Legion Go traded blows with the top-end ROG Ally, and it handled AAA games relatively well. The recently introduced FSR 3.1 makes it perform even better in some titles.

While all that may make the handheld PC seem like a great pick for mobile gaming, we found a couple of areas where the Lenovo Legion Go could've been a little better.
