Lenovo has introduced two ThinkPlus charging bricks in China. They are within the "Light and Shadow" series and can power multiple devices simultaneously. More specifically, among the two, one has a four-port configurationfeaturing two USB-C and two USB-A ports.
This four-port charging adapter maxes out at 100W, and Lenovo says that it can fill the battery of the ThinkBook 14 G6 in 99 minutes. Of course, the charger isn't just for laptops. There is support for multiple protocols, so it can also power up smartphones, gaming handhelds, and accessories.
The second new Lenovo ThinkPlus charging adapter has three ports. It features two USB-C ports and one USB-A port. This adapter can deliver up to 140W of fast charging, and the company says that it can get the Apple MacBook Pro 14 charged up in around 74 minutes.
Like the 100W charging adapter, the 140W unit also has support for multiple charging standards, including PD 3.1, QC 3.0, and PPS. So, it can charge smartphones and other devices.
Both the charging adapters have GaN tech, allowing them to be reasonably portable. They also sport folding prongs, making them even more travel-friendly. The chargers also have multiple protection features, which aim to ensure safe charging.
As for the prices, the four-port 100W charger costs CNY 249, which converts to around $34.74. The three-port 140W adapter, on the other hand, costs CNY 369, about $51.49. Lenovo has yet to announce these GaN chargers for the international markets, but if you're looking for something similar, the UGREEN Nexode 140W power adapter is a good alternative (curr. $89.99 on Amazon).
