Garmin has announced a new update for the Descent G1 dive computer and smartwatch. System Software 16.10 brings a range of new features and improvements to the wearable.
The changelog states that Morning Report has been added to the wearables, providing a daily summary of information like your body battery, calendar events and the weather. Another new tool for this smartwatch is Training Readiness, a score designed to help you adjust your workouts based on your expected energy levels. Heart Rate Zone has been replaced with a line for Heart Rate on various post-dive summary pages and charts. The release notes also indicate that Garmin has tackled issues with CIQ Watch faces, the Battery Saver watch face and the Sight ‘N Go hotkey.
