This is another opportunity for crypto stakers to earn while reusing their liquid staking tokens (LSTs).

What is $COOK and its airdrop?

The Mantle Liquid Staking Protocol is a decentralized application that allows users to stake their ETH and receive LSTs in return. These LSTs can then be used to participate in various DeFi activities, such as lending, borrowing, and trading.

As part of the protocol's launch, a total of 15% of the $COOK governance token will be airdropped to early stakers and participants. The airdrop will be calculated based on the amount of “Powder” points collected by each participant during the campaign period.

Here's a breakdown of the $COOK airdrop and how to collect Powder points:

Option 1: Collect $mETH

Mantle Staked Ether (mETH) is an LST received when a user stakes their $ETH on Mantle. The more mETH a user collects, the higher their chances of earning $COOK.

Option 2: Do Tasks

There are several tasks that users can complete to earn Powder points. These tasks include:

- Staking at least 10 $mETH.

- Adding liquidity to at least one Balancer pool with $mETH.

- borrowing at least 100 $ETH from Aave v3 using $mETH as collateral.

- Delegating at least 1 vote to a Sushi governance proposal.

- Consuming at least one Potion NFT from Potion Labs.

- Completing a quest on Raid Guild using at least $mETH.

- Participating in at least one GEMS quest.

- Completing at least one task on Charged Particles.

- Consuming at least one Boost NFT from Boost Labs.

- Completing at least one quest on Metaportal.

- Staking at least 100 $ETH on Lido using $mETH as collateral.

- Consuming at least one Charm NFT from Charm Labs.

- Completing at least one challenge on Dora Hacks using at least $mETH.

- Consuming at least one Blessing NFT from Blessing Labs.

- Completing at least one quest on Hack Quest using at least $mETH.

- Consuming at least one Blessing NFT from Blessing Labs.

- Completing at least one quest on Hack Quest using at least $mETH.

- Consuming at least one Key NFT from KeyFi.

- Completing at least one quest on Hack Quest using at least $mETH.

- Consuming at least one Key NFT from KeyFi.

- Completing at least one quest on Hack Quest using at least $mETH.

- Consuming at least one Key NFT from KeyFi.

- Completing at least one quest on Hack Quest using at least $mETH.

- Consuming at least one Key NFT from KeyFi.

- Completing at least one quest on Hack Quest using at least $mETH.

Option 3: Do both the options 1 and 2.

Users can choose to either collect $mETH or complete tasks to earn Powder points. They can also choose to do both to increase their chances of earning $COOK.

Option 4: Lock $MNT

Those who lock their MNT will automatically receive airdrop rewards directly, and no powder points will be reflected.

To clarify, the expected TGE is in mid-October.

What's next: Mantle will also release a liquid restaking token, which will be called $cmETH. It is a permissionless and composable token that is designed to broaden access to restaking opportunities, which can enable Mantle users to earn.
