Images of the Garmin Fenix 8 Solar Edition have been leaked. Shared by reliable source Roland Quandt at WinFuture, the pictures of the Fenix 8 appear to show two sizes, 47mm and 51mm. However, there is no mention of the smaller 43mm variant, rumored earlier this year.
The Fenix 8’s design is somewhat similar to the Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar. Pictures of the rear of the watch show sensors, including the Elevate 5 heart rate sensor, allowing you to track various health metrics. This image also shows that the wearable is water resistant to a depth of 100 m (~328 ft) and suitable for diving up to depths of 40 m (~131 ft).
The photos show three versions of the watch. The larger 51mm model is shown with a dark gray stainless steel watch casing with a red accent and black wristband. The second, a 47mm watch, has a lighter silver casing made from titanium and a bright yellow band. The third and final variant is also a 47mm and titanium, though in a darker color with the black wristband. The Fenix 8 smartwatches are expected to launch in the run-up to IFA 2024, which will begin in Berlin on September 6th.
