The Forerunner 265 has received plenty of new software updates in the last few weeks, having been moved on from v19.xx builds in late July. Now, Garmin has decided to introduce Beta Version 20.23, the third v20.xx update that it has released to date.
Please note that Garmin has not offered any of these updates through its stable software distribution channel yet. Instead, those running stable software have been left running Software Version 19.18, which debuted in May. Based on Garmin's forum post, it could be a while before any v20.xx updates reach the Forerunner 265 (curr. $459.99 on Amazon) too.
In the meantime, Beta Version 20.23 is said to make 18 changes compared to Beta Version 20.21. With that being said, it appears that only a handful are new improvements, such as a fix that prevents map data field truncations from occurring and refined pool swim workout options. For reference, Garmin claims that the software introduces the following bug fixes, new features and improvements over earlier builds:
