Aptos is a Layer 1 blockchain designed to handle high transaction throughput and cater to a wide range of decentralized applications. The blockchain boasts the capability to process thousands of transactions per second and features extremely low gas fees.
Aptos has been gaining traction in the crypto space with the average daily active users on the network increasing from 96K in January to 170K in July. The blockchain also recently crossed the 10 million transactions mark.
The integration of USDT on the Aptos blockchain will enable a new avenue for utilizing the stablecoin in decentralized applications and protocols.
