Ultimate 2C: 8BitDo releases new wired and wireless controller refreshes with Hall Effect joysticks for under

8BitDo has introduced another new set of special edition controllers, hot on the heels of offering a new pair of Pro 2 options. This time, the company has refreshed the Ultimate 2C, less than two months after presenting the PC version of the same controller.

This time, it has decided to re-skin the Ultimate 2C to tie in with the release of Black Myth: Wukong, an RPG that lands on August 20 for Windows, PlayStation and Xbox Series consoles. As the photos below imply, the Ultimate 2C - Black Myth: Wukong Edition is available in wired and wireless versions, which are also priced differently.

Specifically, 8BitDo is selling the pair for $24.99 and $34.99, respectively, through Amazon and its webshop. As far as we can tell, the Black Myth: Wukong editions do not contain any hardware differences from the regular Ultimate 2C. As such, the new controllers offer Hall Effect triggers and joysticks, plus a 1,000 Hz polling rate. Moreover, the wireless version ships with a USB Type-A adapter. Please see 8BitDo's website for more hardware details.
