Six rare and valuable British coins you need to keep your eye on - and one is worth a staggering £200k

It's no secret certain pieces are worth more than others, while some are higher than face value. Now six special coins are causing quite a stir on TikTok

TikTok user @CoinCollectingWizard, who has 185,000 followers, recently shared a video where he showed viewers six special British coins that are quite valuable.

The first coin on the list is the 1924 Florin or two shillings, which is valued at £65 in fine condition and a staggering £145 in uncirculated condition.

Next up is the 1949 Brass 3p, which has a very low mintage of just 464,000. One of these coins recently sold for just under £500 in fine condition.

The third coin is the 1925 Florin, which also has a low mintage of just over a million. This coin sells for around £40 in good condition and over £500 in uncirculated condition.

For the fourth coin, the user said that not many people know how many of this old penny were minted in 1869, but owning one can have a value of up to £5,000 if it's in good condition.

Also on the list is the 1905 half crown, which is mentioned as one of the "rarest half coins to ever be minted" with just 160,000. "This can fetch anywhere between £450 and £10,000," he explained.

And finally, he slipped this 1933 penny in there because if you are lucky enough to find this coin, then you are guaranteed at least £200,000.

Since he shared the informative video, the post has scooped hundreds of likes and comments with many users flooding the comments section with news sharing they own one of the coins.

One user said: "Is a 1957 3p worth anything?" As a third posted: "I have over 100."
